The Second Degree requires demonstrated engagement with the First Degree materials and a written submission to the Secretary’s office. The submission is assessed by the Warden. Approximately 60% of submissions are accepted. The Institution does not publish assessment criteria.
The Second Degree grants access to: the full Eden Valley founding survey; the 1247 Document pages 1–3; the Station 7 monitoring protocol established 1885; the MERIDIAN restricted summary; and the Second Degree Origins Library entries.
